Zakk Sabbath Kicks Off ‘American Winter ’25’ Tour; Full Concert Video From Opening Night Surfaces

Zakk Sabbath, the acclaimed Black Sabbath tribute band led by guitar icon Zakk Wylde, launched their Fall 2025 North American tour this past week, and high-quality footage of the entire kickoff show has already emerged. You can watch it down below.

The “American Winter ’25” tour began on Thursday, October 30, at The Show at Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California. Scott Perry of the LiveRockMusic YouTube channel has uploaded the complete performance, capturing the band’s powerful start to the extensive run.

The project, formed by Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society) in 2014, pays homage to the godfathers of heavy metal.

While the band’s core lineup includes Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne) and Joey Castillo (Queens of the Stone Age), this current tour features Wylde‘s Black Label Society bandmates, John “JD” DeServio on bass and Jeff Fabb on drums.

The newly launched tour is a lengthy coast-to-coast trek, scheduled to conclude on December 16 at the House Of Blues in San Diego, California. The bill features a rotating support slot, with Use Your Illusion opening the first leg, Bonfire taking over from November 9, and Dark Chapel appearing on most dates.

This tour follows the 2024 digital release of Greatest Riffs, a compilation that made tracks from Zakk Sabbath‘s vinyl-only albums, Vertigo and Doomed Forever Forever Doomed, available on streaming platforms for the first time.
