Fan-filmed footage shows Megadeth’s explosive 10-song set in Düsseldorf as Disturbed’s support, coinciding with new single “Tipping Point.”

As Megadeth officially releases “Tipping Point,” the first single from their final studio album today, new fan-filmed footage has surfaced of the band’s explosive recent performance in Düsseldorf, Germany. The video captures the thrash legends delivering a powerful, hits-packed 10-song set as the direct support for Disturbed on October 1.

The footage from the PSD Bank Dome showcases the band in top form, tearing through a setlist comprised entirely of their most iconic and beloved classics. The performance serves as a powerful reminder of the band’s legendary live prowess as they simultaneously begin to unveil their final musical chapter.

Megadeth Setlist – October 1, 2025 – Düsseldorf, Germany:

  • “Symphony Of Destruction”
  • “Mechanix”
  • “Peace Sells”
  • “We’ll Be Back”
  • “Tornado Of Souls”
  • “Sweating Bullets”
  • “Wake Up Dead”
  • “In My Darkest Hour”
  • “Hangar 18”
  • “Holy Wars…The Punishment Due”

The release of the new single and the ongoing tour are the first steps in the band’s long goodbye. In August, frontman Dave Mustaine announced that Megadeth would be concluding their four-decade recording career with one more album, followed by a massive global farewell tour in 2026. In an emotional statement, he explained his decision to end the band on his own terms.

“There’s so many musicians that have come to the end of their career, whether accidental or intentional,” Mustaine said. “Most of them don’t get to go out on their own terms on top, and that’s where I’m at in my life right now. I have traveled the world and have made millions upon millions of fans, and the hardest part of all of this is saying goodbye to them.”

He continued: “We can’t wait for you to hear this album and see us on tour… This is also a perfect time for us to tell you that it’s our last studio album… Don’t be mad, don’t be sad — be happy for us all, come celebrate with me these next few years… We started a musical style, we started a revolution, we changed the guitar world and how it’s played, and we changed the world… Thank you for everything.”
