Vended has announced that rhythm guitarist Connor “Grod” Grodzicki has left the band for personal reasons. In a statement on social media, the group addressed the departure.

They said:

“To our fans, we want to share with you that our guitarist, Grod has made the difficult decision to part ways with the band due to personal reasons. This was not an easy choice, but one we respect fully. Grod has been an incredible brother to us both on and off stage, and his contributions will always be a part of who we are.

“While it’s hard to say goodbye, we are grateful for the time, energy, and love he poured into this band. We ask you to join us in supporting him as he moves forward on his own path.

“As for us, we will continue to push forward, create and give everything we have for all of you who believe in us. Your support means the world, and we are more committed than ever to carry this vision onward.

“With love and respect, Vended

Formed in Des Moines, Iowa, Vended quickly gained attention in the metal scene, partly due to the high-profile lineage of its members. The band features Griffin Taylor, the son of Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, on vocals, and Simon Crahan, the son of Slipknot drummer Shawn “Clown” Crahan, on drums. The lineup is completed by bassist Jeremiah Pugh and guitarist Cole Espeland, following the recent departure of guitarist Connor “Grod” Grodzicki.

The band released their debut EP, What Is It // Kill It, in 2021, followed by several singles and their self-titled full-length album in 2024.
