Twisted Sister Confirm First U.K. Performance In A Decade For Steelhouse 2026

Twisted Sister will make their triumphant return to the UK for the first time in a decade, headlining the 15th anniversary of the Steelhouse Festival. The 2026 performance will be the legendary band’s only UK date as part of their 50th-anniversary reunion tour.

The festival, Steelhouse XV, is set to take place on its traditional “mountain home” at Hafod-y-Dafal Farm in Ebbw Vale, Wales, from July 24-26, 2026. The last time Twisted Sister performed in the UK was at Bloodstock in 2016, just before their “Forty and F*ck It!” farewell tour.

Promoters Max and Mikey celebrated the massive booking as the perfect way to mark their own milestone.

“We thought 15 years was worth celebrating in the biggest possible way,” the promoters said in a statement. “And what better way to do that with one of the most iconic names in metal – Twisted f**king Sister! To have them come and celebrate their milestone 50 years with us is an absolute and unbelievable honour.”

The booking is the fulfillment of a long-held hope, which began when Dee Snider performed at the festival as a solo artist.

“When Dee Snider came and laid waste to Steelhouse a decade ago… we hoped that perhaps he would one day return with the band he made his name with…” they continued. “In our 15th year and their 50th, this is coming to pass… Twisted Sister on The Mountain is going to be huge!”

Twisted Sister is not the only major act confirmed. The Temperance Movement are scheduled to headline the opening night on Friday.

“We’re also extremely excited that The Temperance Movement headline SHXV’s opening night,” said Max and Mikey. “Their own return has been a hugely welcome and successful one. Their shows last year were akin to going to church!”

The 2026 lineup also includes Reef, Alien Ant Farm, Tyketto, Von Hertzen Brothers, Darren Wharton’s Renegade, Mason Hill, Dan Byrne, Luke Morley, Anthony Gomes, Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse, AMH, Parker Barrow, LN, King Kraken, and Blue Nation.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now, with payment plans available.
