Canadian rock legends Triumph have officially confirmed their return to the stage, announcing their first major tour in three decades. Produced by Live Nation, the “Triumph 50th Anniversary Tour” is scheduled to launch in April 2026, marking a half-century of the band’s storied career with an extensive run of dates across North America.
The reunited trio—Rik Emmett (guitar, vocals), Mike Levine (bass, keyboards), and Gil Moore (drums, vocals)—issued a collective statement explaining the motivation behind this historic comeback.
“Our fans have always been the heart of Triumph. Their energy, their belief, and the way they embraced the positivity in our music have carried us for 50 years,” the band stated. “We’ve always said these songs were meant to bring people together — and that’s exactly why we’re coming back now. We knew there was still a chapter left to write. This tour is our chance to do it, together with the people who made the Triumph journey possible.”
The tour will feature special guest April Wine, making for a classic Canadian rock billing. Tickets will become available to the general public this Friday, December 12, at 10:00 a.m. local time via Live Nation. Presales begin Wednesday, December 10, including early access for American Express card members in Canada.
In a charitable move, Triumph has partnered with PLUS1 to donate $1 from every ticket sold to SoundsUnite, a community organization focused on music education and wellness.
Formed in Mississauga in 1975, Triumph became a staple of the arena rock era, known for hits like “Lay It on The Line,” “Magic Power,” and “Fight The Good Fight.” The band built a reputation for high-production live shows featuring lasers and pyrotechnics, eventually selling over 15 million albums worldwide.
This return to the road caps off a period of renewed recognition for the group. In June 2025, the tribute album Magic Power: All-Star Tribute To Triumph was released, featuring contributions from Slash, Sebastian Bach, and Alex Lifeson. Additionally, the band was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall Of Fame in October, adding to their previous inductions into the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame and Canada’s Walk Of Fame.
