Trans-Siberian Orchestra is preparing for its highly anticipated annual tour, a spectacle that has become a rite of passage for many fans. This year, the rock powerhouse is set to stage a massive production, delivering 106 performances across 64 markets, with two separate casts taking the show on the road to meet the demand.
The central theme of this year’s tour is a special celebration of the 25th anniversary of the band’s acclaimed rock opera, Beethoven’s Last Night. Musical Director and guitarist Al Pitrelli expressed his excitement about bringing the album to the stage, stating: “When I go back and listen to our songs, I am always amazed at how quickly the time has gone by… We are excited to play pieces from the album and pay respects to the art and legacies of both the great composer and Paul O’Neill.” The performance will feature an all-new production of the classic “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve,” followed by a second set dedicated to hits and fan favorites, including the special tribute to Beethoven’s Last Night.
The anniversary is also being marked by the album’s long-awaited vinyl debut, set for release on September 12. The special 2LP set, which tells the dramatic tale of Ludwig van Beethoven’s final hours, will be available in two distinct editions: a lenticular cover exclusive and a red vinyl pressing. The release further commemorates the vision of the late founder, Paul O’Neill, whose ambition was to fuse hard rock with theatrical, classical storytelling.
The tour officially kicks off on November 13 with performances in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Council Bluffs, Iowa, and will continue through December 30, with final shows in Washington, D.C., and Fargo, North Dakota. Tickets for the tour will be available to the general public starting September 12, with a series of pre-sales beginning on September 4 and 5 for fan club members.
