Trans-Siberian Orchestra will mark 30 years with a winter run of 56 dates across North America, built around a rebuilt staging of “The Ghosts Of Christmas Eve” and followed each night by a second set.
The tour opens on November 19 with two shows at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and a third the same evening in Council Bluffs, Iowa. It closes on December 30 with matinee and evening performances in both Buffalo and St. Louis. Toronto on December 29 is the only Canadian stop.
Al Pitrelli, the band’s music director and guitarist, tied the anniversary to ticket prices.
“Thirty years in, we never take a single person in that audience for granted,” he said. “With the economy the way that it is right now, it shouldn’t be a mortgage payment for a family to come out to see us. Paul O’Neill was very adamant about giving people in the audience more ‘show’ than they could’ve even imagined, and that’s what we do every year. We reimagine the show, we rebuild it, we make it bigger than last year so people come back again. I want you to look and go ‘Oh my God, they outdid themselves one more time!’. We want to make sure you guys can come out and celebrate because you and everyone in that audience are the greatest fans in the world.”
The band says it has expanded the number of lower-priced seats in every city on the itinerary.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra tours as two separate companies working the continent at the same time, which is why the schedule below lists two cities on most dates. With afternoon and evening performances in the majority of markets, the six-week run adds up to close to 100 shows.
Fan club pre-sales run on September 10 and 11. National and local pre-sales open on September 17, and general public tickets go on sale September 18. Ticketing links are at www.trans-siberian.com.

“The Ghosts Of Christmas Eve” began as a television special and DVD. It follows a runaway who breaks into a derelict vaudeville theatre on Christmas Eve to get out of the cold and is found by the caretaker, who uses the ghosts and spirits attached to the building to change the course of her life. The 2026 production reworks the staging.
The band was started in 1996 by Paul O’Neill, who had already written “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” for Savatage‘s 1995 album Dead Winter Dead before it became Trans-Siberian Orchestra‘s calling card. O’Neill died in 2017.
He set out his approach in a 2010: “When someone goes to a TSO concert, we don’t want them to walk away saying ‘that was a great show’ or ‘that was worth it’ or even ‘that was the best show I’ve seen in a long time.’ We want them to say, ‘Man, that was the best show ever; we just ripped that band off.'”
According to the band, “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” is the third best-selling holiday digital single on record, has passed 300 million streams and carries an RIAA three-times-platinum certification. It remains the standard soundtrack for synchronised light displays every December.
“Christmas Canon“, built on Pachelbel, has passed 250 million streams by the band’s count. “O Come All Ye Faithful“, “Mad Russian Christmas“, “Wizards In Winter“, “Requiem (The Fifth)” and “This Christmas Day” also return to holiday playlists each year.
