Due to overwhelming demand, Tool has announced a second concert in Honolulu, adding a December 20 performance at the Blaisdell Arena. This new date follows the rapid sell-out of their previously announced December 19 show, marking the band’s first return to Hawaii in over a decade. The last time the band performed in the Aloha State was in 2011.
An exclusive pre-sale for members of the Tool Army fan club will take place from August 13 at 10 a.m. to August 14 at 10 p.m. local time. Additionally, fans who already purchased tickets for the December 19 show will have a separate exclusive pre-sale on August 14 at 10 a.m. local time. General public tickets for the new show will be available starting Friday, August 15, at 10 a.m. local time.
For both performances, a limited number of VIP upgrade packages will be available for purchase at the same time as the general on-sale. These packages offer fans special perks, including access to the soundcheck, a group photo opportunity, and early entry to the venue. More details and ticketing links can be found on the band’s official website, Toolband.com.
The new Hawaiian dates are part of a busy touring schedule for the band, which also includes their first shows in Japan since 2013. These upcoming performances will take place on December 11 at K-Arena Yokohama and December 13 at Glion Arena Kobe.
