After more than two decades, the unmistakable sound of Tony Iommi will once again take center stage. The legendary guitarist and founding member of Black Sabbath has announced his new solo album, From The Dark, set for release on October 23, 2026.
The album marks Iommi’s first solo release in 21 years and his first full-length project since Black Sabbath’s final studio album, 13. Built around eight new compositions, From The Dark showcases the guitarist’s signature heavy sound while exploring a wide range of dark, atmospheric, and powerful musical landscapes.
Created alongside longtime producer Mike Exeter, the record represents a musical vision that has been years in the making. Together, Iommi and Exeter have crafted an album filled with massive riffs, intricate arrangements, and some of the most inspired guitar performances of Tony’s career.
Joining Iommi on this highly anticipated release are vocalist Jørn Lande, drummer Karl Brazil, and bassist Becky Baldwin, who help bring the album’s powerful compositions to life.
