Former Cinderella frontman Tom Keifer has officially pulled the plug on the final three dates of his 2026 solo tour after suffering a vocal injury that left him unable to sing.
The cancellation affects a July 30 concert at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Pennsylvania, an August 1 festival slot at Rock The Dam in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and an August 3 show at Warehouse Live Midtown in Houston, Texas. The Houston performance was already a rescheduled event; Tom Keifer had previously postponed the original June 27 date just minutes before showtime due to a sudden illness.
Today, July 29, the singer’s manager, Tim Heyne of Union Entertainment Group, released a formal statement on social media detailing the health setback:
“Unfortunately, Tom Keifer has suffered a severe vocal muscle strain/injury resulting in complete loss of singing voice, forcing the cancellation of the last three upcoming shows of the Keiferband‘s 2026 concert tour. Please contact the venues or ticket services for refunds.”
“Canceling any show is the last thing Tom ever wants to see happen. He loves performing for you all and makes every effort to ensure his voice is the best it can be for every show.”
Over the last 15 years, the hard-rock vocalist has focused his efforts on his solo career, recording and touring under the banner #keiferband. Last August, he told Meltdown on Detroit radio station “WRIF” that he was actively working on new material to follow his sophomore solo record, Rise, which dropped in September 2019 via Cleopatra Records.

Tom Keifer served as the signature voice and frontman on every Cinderella studio release, starting with 1986’s Night Songs and 1988’s Long Cold Winter. The Philadelphia rock act put out two more studio records before Tom Keifer battled vocal paresis, shifts in the rock landscape around the grunge explosion, and the loss of their label contract.
While Cinderella has not released a studio record since 1994’s Still Climbing, the group reunited for occasional live shows starting in 2010. However, the band remained mostly inactive in recent years as its frontman dedicated himself to his solo work. In March 2022, Tom Keifer shared that he was completely unprepared for the July 2021 death of Cinderella guitarist Jeff LaBar, who was found dead in his Nashville apartment at age 58.
Ticket holders for the canceled Glenside, Beaver Dam, and Houston shows are advised to reach out directly to ticket providers and point-of-purchase venues for full refunds.
