The Smashing Pumpkins Announce Dates For Fall 2026 ‘The Rats In A Cage Tour’

Dubbed “The Rats In A Cage Tour”, the fall 2026 run will mark the 30th anniversary of their landmark 1995 double album Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness.

The Smashing Pumpkins are heading back on the road in a major way next year, announcing a large-scale North American tour set to celebrate one of the most influential albums of the 1990s.

Dubbed “The Rats In A Cage Tour”, the fall 2026 run will mark the 30th anniversary of their landmark 1995 double album Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness, a record widely regarded as a defining moment in alternative rock history.

The 27-date trek will see the Billy Corgan-led outfit perform “two unique sets”, including a full-album performance of Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness, along with a second set featuring material “from nearly four decades of unruly hits and dark treasures.”

The tour will launch on September 30 in Columbus, Ohio, and will make its way across the United States and Canada before concluding on November 12 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

Before tickets go on general sale, fans will have access to a series of presales. Citi cardmember and Verizon Access presales begin Tuesday, May 19 at 10:00 a.m. local time, followed by a Live Nation All Access presale on Wednesday, May 20 at 10:00 a.m. local time. General ticket sales will open Thursday, May 21 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
