System Of A Down made their long-awaited return to South America last night (Thursday, April 24th, 2025), launching their “Wake Up! South America” tour with a massive show at Estadio Nemésio Camacho El Campín in Bogotá, Colombia. This marks the band’s first performance on the continent since 2015.
The nine-show tour will see the influential alt-metal giants perform across Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil, culminating in a five-show run covering Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo.
Fans in Bogotá were treated to an expansive 33-song setlist packed with hits and numerous surprises. Notably, the band dusted off several tracks rarely heard live in recent years, including “Attack” and “Marmalade” (both last played in 2015), “Violent P***nography” (first time since 2019), “A.D.D.” and “Roulette” (both absent since 2018), and the deep cut “Streamline”, which hadn’t been performed live since 2005. The set also included their recent singles “G*nocidal Humanoidz” and “Protect The Land”. Fan-filmed footage from the concert has surfaced online.
