The rumours are over. System of a Down and Faith No More have officially confirmed a four-date stadium tour across Australia and New Zealand, set for January and February 2027 — and it’ll be the first time the two bands have ever shared a stage in the region.
The dates are as follows:
- January 22 — Accor Stadium, Sydney, NSW
- January 27 — Marvel Stadium, Melbourne, VIC
- February 1 — Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, QLD
- February 7 — Hnry Stadium, Wellington, NZ
Faith No More will join as special guests across all four shows.
For System of a Down, this marks a return to Australian shores after more than a decade away. Faith No More, meanwhile, add another region to their previously confirmed 2027 touring plans, which bassist Bill Gould had flagged as covering Australia, Europe, South America, and the US.
The official announcement caps off a week of teasers that had fans speculating hard. As covered in our earlier report, murals featuring System of a Down‘s hand symbol appeared in Melbourne and Sydney on Friday, July 24, while Faith No More‘s logo was projected in Brisbane. Days later, the same imagery began showing up on the social media pages of Accor Stadium, Marvel Stadium, Suncorp Stadium, and Hnry Stadium — all of which, as it turns out, are now confirmed as tour venues.
For fans planning to grab tickets, here’s the rollout:
- July 28 — Artist pre-sale (for those signed up to the bands’ mailing lists)
- July 29 — PayPal First Access pre-sale (requires a PayPal account)
- July 31 — General public on-sale, at 10 a.m. in Sydney, 11 a.m. in Melbourne and Wellington, and 12 p.m. in Brisbane
