System Of A Down has officially expanded their 2026 touring schedule with a gargantuan headlining show in Mexico. The Armenian-American metal icons are set to perform at the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City on May 27, 2026.

The event promises to be one of the largest standalone shows of the year for the group, with the venue boasting a capacity of 65,000. Joining them as special guests for the evening will be the acclaimed British post-punk band IDLES.

Tickets for the event are rolling out this week. Presales begin today, December 10, at 10:00 a.m. local time. The general public on-sale is scheduled for early next week, launching on Tuesday, December 16, at 2:00 p.m. local time.

This announcement adds to an already busy year for System Of A Down, who have ramped up their live activity significantly compared to recent years. The Mexico City date bridges the gap between their spring festival appearance in the United States and a major stadium tour across Europe this summer.

The European run is particularly notable, featuring a powerhouse support bill of Queens Of The Stone Age and the legendary sludge metal outfit Acid Bath. That trek includes multiple nights in major capitals like Paris, London, and Warsaw. Additionally, the band is slated to appear in Texas later in the fall.
