Staind are set to commemorate a quarter-century of their most commercially successful era, announcing a major North American headlining run dubbed the “Break The Cycle 25th Anniversary Tour.”
Produced by Live Nation, the extensive trek will see the Massachusetts rockers celebrating the legacy of their 2001 blockbuster album, Break The Cycle. To mark the occasion, the band has curated a powerhouse lineup of early-2000s rock staples. Seether has been tapped as direct support for the tour, with Hoobastank and Hinder confirmed to open the festivities, creating a four-band bill that pays homage to a defining era of modern rock radio.
While the band has a handful of spring festival appearances and warm-up dates scheduled for May and July, the core 25th-anniversary run officially launches in September. The tour will hit major amphitheaters and arenas across the United States and Canada before wrapping up in mid-October in Austin, Texas.
The tour is designed as a victory lap for Break The Cycle, the RIAA five-times-platinum juggernaut that catapulted Staind to superstardom. Driven by the massive success of the single “It’s Been Awhile“—which dominated rock radio for 20 weeks at number one—the album also spawned hits like “Fade,” “For You,” and “Epiphany,” securing the band’s place in rock history.
Founding vocalist Aaron Lewis expressed his gratitude for the band’s longevity and the camaraderie of the upcoming tour.
“25 years later to be touring, celebrating this album and bringing our music to our fans near and far is something really special,” Lewis commented. “I’m looking forward to going out with these guys. It’s like one big family reunion!”
Guitarist Mike Mushok echoed those sentiments, acknowledging the impact the record had on their lives.
“Hard to believe it’s been 25 years,” Mushok said. “I look back on those times as one of the highlights of my career and feel very fortunate to still be doing this. I look forward to hitting the road and celebrating with good friends what was a career-defining album for us. I hope you can join us on this celebration.”

The anniversary tour follows a productive period for the band, who released their eighth studio album, Confessions Of The Fallen, in September 2023—their first new record in twelve years.
