Staind vocalist and guitarist Aaron Lewis has officially released the title track and lead single from his upcoming solo country album, Give My Country Back. The politically outspoken musician has long been recognized for weaving his right-wing political beliefs directly into his solo acoustic and country catalog, and his latest studio output firmly continues that traditionalist trend.

The upcoming record is scheduled to arrive on July 17 via Big Machine Records. Aaron Lewis has already been road-testing the brand-new title track during recent live sets and is scheduled to spend a significant portion of 2026 touring behind the project alongside his backing band, The Stateliners. The extensive live campaign includes upcoming appearances at the highly publicized Rock the Country music festivals.

To promote the ongoing run, the frontman also recently launched a line of politically themed merchandise that has garnered considerable online attention and debate. The new apparel, which also features the Aaron Lewis and The Stateliners logo with the tagline “American as it gets,” is a direct extension of the social commentary that has defined the singer’s solo career over the last decade.

This increasingly polarized social climate has brought specific consequences for the singer’s career. Last August, during a high-profile interview with Tucker CarlsonAaron Lewis claimed that his political stances had led to him being shut out of traditional media channels.

“They won’t play me. They don’t like my thoughts on things… It’s nice to not have to bow down to the powers that be,” Lewis stated during the broadcast. Despite the alleged blacklisting from mainstream radio, the singer’s “2026 American Tour” has seen significant success across dozens of cities.

Looking further ahead, the musician’s solo focus will shift back to his primary heavy rock outfit in 2027. Staind reportedly already has their ninth studio album completely finished and ready for release, with official launch details and timing currently pending.

The complete lyrics for the song lay out his perspective on patriotism and national identity in full (according to theprp):

“If you don’t like my country, you can give my country back

I don’t mind you leaving, hell I’ll even help you pack

Take a bus, a plane, a truck, a train

To where they like the way you act

‘Cause if you don’t like my country, you can give my country back

You’ve been crying like a fiddle, you’ve been whining like a steel

I tried to care just a little, but here’s the way I feel

I hate to bust your bubble, but I don’t mind if I do

But keep stirring up the trouble, but there’s more of us than you

And if you don’t like my country, you can give my country back

Yeah, I don’t mind you leaving, hell I’ll even help you pack

Take a bus, a plane, a truck, a train

To where they like the way you act

If you don’t like my country, you can give my country back

Now we’re standing on the shoulders of the ones that went before

Proud of what they did to make it all worth dying for

Yeah, you bite the hands that feeds you

And it ought to be a crime

You wave a flag from somewhere else while you’re burning mine

And if you don’t like my country, you can give my country back

Hey, I don’t mind you leaving, hell I’ll even help you pack

Take a bus, a plane, a truck, a train

To where they like the way you act

If you don’t like my country, you can give my country back

You keep telling us you’re leaving

Don’t believe in what we believe in

There’s the door, you can leave the freedom

I’ll be here pledging my allegiance

And if you don’t like my country, you can give my country back

Yeah, I don’t mind you leaving, hell I’ll even help you pack

Take a bus, a plane, a truck, a train

To where they like the way you act

‘Cause if you don’t like my country, you can give my country back

Yeah, if you don’t like my country, you can give my country back

If you don’t like my country, you can kiss my country a**”
