Staind have expanded their upcoming celebration of the 5x-platinum album Break The Cycle by announcing an additional headlining performance. The alternative metal veterans will perform the record in its entirety on September 3 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
While the band revisits one of the defining releases of its catalog throughout the remainder of 2026, attention will eventually shift toward new material. Staind have already completed work on their ninth studio album, which is currently slated for release in 2027, with more information expected in the coming months.
The group’s Break The Cycle anniversary trek will run throughout September and October. Seether has been tapped as direct support for the tour, with Hoobastank and Hinder confirmed to open the festivities.
“25 years later to be touring, celebrating this album and bringing our music to our fans near and far is something really special,” Aaron Lewis commented. “I’m looking forward to going out with these guys. It’s like one big family reunion!”
Guitarist Mike Mushok echoed those sentiments, acknowledging the impact the record had on their lives.
“Hard to believe it’s been 25 years,” Mushok said. “I look back on those times as one of the highlights of my career and feel very fortunate to still be doing this. I look forward to hitting the road and celebrating with good friends what was a career-defining album for us. I hope you can join us on this celebration.”
The anniversary tour follows a productive period for the band, who released their eighth studio album, Confessions Of The Fallen, in September 2023—their first new record in twelve years.
