Industrial Nu-Metal veterans Spineshank have confirmed the return of frontman Jonny Santos to their ongoing UK tour, resolving a travel issue that forced the band to temporarily rely on a stand-in vocalist for the initial dates. Santos rejoined the band in dramatic fashion, appearing on stage during their November 8th set in Norwich after driving directly from the airport to the venue.

The band was quick to publicly thank Hostage vocalist James Mills, who stepped in at the last minute to save the first leg of their tour.

Spineshank posted a heartfelt statement this morning, November 9th, praising Mills‘ dedication and performance:

“Everyone show some major love to @jayhostileuk this guy came through and literally saved our tour while Jonny was making his way over. He had less than two days to learn an entire album, and still managed to exceed every single expectation. Every night he absolutely crushed it on stage. An incredible performer, and an even better human being. You’re forever part of this family now. We love you James”

Fan-filmed footage from the Norwich show captures the exciting moment Santos arrived, allowing both vocalists to share the stage.

The current tour finds Spineshank celebrating the 25th anniversary of their acclaimed 2000 sophomore album, The Height Of Callousness. The band is currently out with Drowning Pool and (hed)p.e., with dates continuing throughout the UK before heading to Europe later this month.
