Sonata Arctica 2025

Finnish power metal veterans Sonata Arctica have announced a series of new headlining performances for their upcoming North American tour, set to kick off in September. These newly confirmed shows will complement their previously revealed support dates alongside Symphony X, providing fans with additional opportunities to experience Sonata Arctica‘s renowned live sound.

The band will be joined by American instrumental metal act Powerglove as openers for all dates across both the headline and support legs of the tour.

Sonata Arctica expressed their excitement about returning to North America after a considerable hiatus. “It’s been awhile since we last toured the US & Canada so it’s gonna be really awesome to come back and kick some a** once again,” the band commented. They also hinted at the setlist, noting their return to their power metal roots with their latest album: “With our new album we made a return to Power Metal so you can expect to hear some favourites from the past that we haven’t played in years as well as some new stuff. See you all soon!”
