Bosnia and Herzegovina’s rising metal act Smetlište have kicked off a new chapter with the release of their standalone single “Toplota Hladnog Pogleda,” accompanied by an official music video. The track marks the band’s first fresh material since last year’s debut album Kradljivac Duša and offers a strong preview of what lies ahead.
Rather than revisiting the exact blueprint of their debut, “Toplota Hladnog Pogleda” shows a band sharpening its identity. Built on crushing riffs, groove-heavy rhythms, and emotionally driven melodies, the song leans into a darker and more atmospheric direction while maintaining the aggressive backbone that defines their sound.
The accompanying video was recorded, produced, and arranged by Aleksandar Kalajdžić. Visually intense and performance-focused, it captures the band’s raw stage energy while enhancing the song’s brooding mood. The result is a cohesive audiovisual statement that reinforces Smetlište’s expanding creative vision.
