Sleep Token 2025

Sleep Token launched their highly anticipated 2025 “June Festival Rituals” tour last night, June 7, at Germany’s Rock im Park festival in Nuremberg. The performance not only showcased a blend of fan favorites but also marked the live debut of four tracks from their recently released fourth studio album, Even in Arcadia, delivering a memorable experience for attendees.

The mysterious collective’s setlist for their headline performance, as reported by Setlist.fm, featured over a dozen songs. The most notable additions were the never-before-played cuts from Even in Arcadia. The band opened their set by debuting the album’s opener, “Look to Windward,” and later introduced the singles “Emergence,” “Caramel,” and “Damocles” to the live stage, played in their original release order. This means only a handful of tracks from the new album are yet to be performed live.

Beyond the new material, Sleep Token presented a diverse selection from their discography, including at least two songs from each of their previous three LPs. Tracks like “The Offering” and “Higher” from 2019’s Sundowning were performed, alongside “Hypnosis” and “The Love You Want” from 2021’s This Place Will Become Your Tomb. Hits such as “The Summoning,” “Granite,” and “Take Me Back to Eden” from their 2023 album Take Me Back to Eden also featured prominently.

The band punctuated their performance with two captivating interludes, and as the show concluded, Elton John’s classic “Tiny Dancer” played through the venue’s speakers.

Critics were quick to praise the show’s impactful presentation. Revolver commended Sleep Token for providing concertgoers with “an era-spanning set full of fan-favorite offerings” that “showcased Sleep Token’s compelling whirl of alt rock, djent, pop, electronica and more.” The review also highlighted the night’s striking visual elements, noting that it “found the band unveiling stunning new skull masks and an elaborate new stage production complete with a waterfall.”

Similarly, Kerrang! observed that Sleep Token is “levelling up” with “a bigger, brighter, [and] bolder version” of their distinct live approach. The publication continued: There isn’t a moment where you aren’t being dazzled, where [Sleep Token] aren’t commanding your attention. . . . This isn’t just a few more bits added for a slightly bigger venue, this is a band recalibrating knowing what they are now, not running to keep up with themselves, but finding themselves and being able to bring their biggest ambitions to life.
