Slayer have officially confirmed a new set of Latin American live dates, tying the run directly to their ongoing celebrations marking the 40th anniversary of Reign In Blood.

The announcement follows a brief teaser rollout that initially only revealed city names and a May 29 reveal date, sparking speculation across the metal community. That teaser has now been fully resolved with confirmed schedules, showing a tightly packed series of appearances across five major cities in the region.

The confirmed dates are as follows:

  • October 21: Ciudad de México, MEX
  • December 05: Bogotá, COL
  • December 10: Santiago, CHL
  • December 14: Buenos Aires, ARG
  • December 17: São Paulo, BRA

Each of the appearances will be part of the band’s ongoing Reign In Blood 40th anniversary celebrations, adding another chapter to Slayer’s recent return to selective live activity. Rather than framing the schedule as a traditional tour, the band continues to focus on individual, high-profile shows built around key milestones in their legacy.

Support acts have also been confirmed for the run, with Power Trip joining Slayer for the Mexico City appearance, while German thrash veterans Kreator will appear at the remaining Latin American dates.

The new shows arrive during a particularly active period for Slayer, who have been steadily re-establishing their live presence since returning to the stage in 2024. Following their 2019 farewell tour, the band initially stepped away from live performance before re-emerging for carefully selected appearances rather than a full-scale comeback.

Since then, Slayer have appeared at major festivals and headline events across North America and Europe, including stops at Louder Than Life and Hersheypark Stadium. One of their most notable recent performances came in 2025 at Black Sabbath’s “Back To The Beginning” farewell concert in Birmingham, where they delivered a special six-song set at Villa Park.

Alongside the newly announced Latin American dates, Slayer are also continuing their Reign In Blood anniversary celebrations with additional shows scheduled for September 4 in Shakopee, Minnesota, and two nights in Los Angeles on November 13 and 14. Those Los Angeles performances will feature support from Cannibal Corpse, Cavalera, and Crowbar, while the Minnesota show includes Down, Suicidal Tendencies, and Hatebreed.
