Alex Terrible, the vocalist for the Russian deathcore band Slaughter to Prevail, has provided a detailed update on the status of his merchandise business after the building housing his mask and merch manufacturing operations in Russia collapsed a few weeks ago.

In a statement posted on social media, Terrible expressed gratitude to his fans for their patience and understanding during this challenging period. He confirmed that while his staff escaped the incident without injury, the damage was catastrophic. “Our entire workshop was destroyed,” he explained. “Every mask we had prepared for shipping was lost, along with all of our equipment, ventilation systems, and tools.”

Prior to the collapse, Terrible and his team were working to clear a significant backlog of orders. The incident, however, halted their progress entirely. The vocalist noted that despite the setback, he has already found a new space and is actively working to get the business back up and running. To manage customer expectations and ensure fair service, he has decided to temporarily close the online store to new orders.

Terrible‘s statement outlined a new business model for the future, where masks will only be sold once they are physically ready for shipment. This approach aims to guarantee that orders can be dispatched within two business days, a significant improvement from the previous system. He also affirmed that his handmade masks remain the most competitively priced on the market for their quality.

The full statement from the Alexterriblewear Team is as follows:

“Dear friends, supporters, and fans of our culture,

First of all, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your patience and understanding during this challenging time.

As some of you may remember, the old building where we produced our masks collapsed. Thankfully, no one was injured — but our entire workshop was destroyed. Every mask we had prepared for shipping was lost, along with all of our equipment, ventilation systems, and tools.

Since May, we’ve been working hard to fulfill many orders, aiming to clear our backlog by July. But life had other plans.

The good news is: we have already secured a new space and are doing everything possible to restore production quickly so we can get back to making and shipping masks! We’re deeply touched that, despite these difficulties, so many of you continued placing orders to support us.

To be fair to all our customers, we’ve decided to temporarily pause new orders until we can get back on track. Crafting each mask is a highly detailed and labor-intensive process — everything is made by hand — and we’re working to streamline production.

Going forward, we plan to sell masks only when they are ready in stock. This way, once you place your order, we can ship it within two business days. Shipping from Russia to other countries typically takes 7–14 days, and we use the fastest affordable shipping option available.

We are proud to say that for the quality of our handmade masks, our prices are the most competitive on the market. We’ve researched other markets extensively, and we’re confident this is the best value for you.

Thank you once again for your incredible support. We aim to be back in just one month — stronger than ever!

With gratitude,

Alexterriblewear Team”

The vocalist and bareknuckle boxer expressed confidence in his ability to rebuild the business quickly, stating his goal is to be back in operation within a month, stronger than ever before.
