Death metal stalwarts Six Feet Under are poised for a relentless autumn, having announced their extensive “Midnight In Hell” U.S. tour for September and October. This tour coincides with the band’s ongoing work on their fifteenth studio album, the follow-up to 2024’s Killing For Revenge, which entered recording sessions earlier this month.
The upcoming trek will see frontman Chris Barnes and his bandmates joined by Exhorder, Wretched, and Incite. Barnes expressed his enthusiasm for hitting the road again, promising a mix of familiar and fresh material for fans.
“After a highly successful return to touring, I’m very excited to get back on the road and continue the mayhem this fall!” Barnes commented. He added specific details about the setlist, stating: “Our friends Exhorder, Wretched, and Incite will be our accomplices this time around. We will be dusting off some classic Six Feet Under material and three songs we’ve never played live, including the fan favorite ‘The Noose’! See you this fall and don’t forget we’ll be at Aftershock festival Sunday, October 5th!”

Six Feet Under originated as a side project for Chris Barnes during his final years with Cannibal Corpse, a band he co-founded. Since 1995, coinciding with their debut album Haunted, Six Feet Under became Barnes‘s primary focus. While Barnes remains the sole original member, the band’s consistent output and raw death metal sound have remained a hallmark. The current lineup, featuring Barnes on vocals, guitarists Jack Owen (formerly of Cannibal Corpse) and Ray Suhy, bassist Jeff Hughell, and drummer Marco Pitruzzella, promises a devastating live experience and a powerful force in their ongoing studio efforts.
