Shinedown has officially unveiled “Outlaw“, the newest track from their highly anticipated eighth studio album, Ei8ht. The full-length record is scheduled to drop on May 29 via Atlantic Records.

The arrival of the new single comes just days after the band secured another major industry victory. On March 26, Shinedown was crowned “Rock Artist Of The Year” at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, claiming the prestigious title for the second consecutive year and further cementing their dominance in the modern rock landscape.

Outlaw” introduces a raw, open-road energy to the band’s catalog, blending their signature intensity with an organic, stripped-down atmosphere that expands the sonic horizons of Ei8ht. The single follows a massively successful string of recent releases from the upcoming record, including “Dance, Kid, Dance“, “Killing Fields“, “Three Six Five“, “Safe And Sound“, and the chart-topping smash “Searchlight“.

With “Searchlight“, the group continued to shatter their own industry records, reaching No. 1 on both the Mediabase Active Rock chart (marking their 24th time at the summit) and the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart (their 22nd No. 1). They currently hold the ultimate title as the No. 1 artist on Billboard‘s Greatest Of All Time Mainstream Rock Artists list. Furthermore, their crossover appeal was proven once again this year as “Three Six Five” conquered “Alternative Radio” and climbed high into the Top 40 and Hot AC charts.

To support the release of Ei8ht, the quartet, consisting of vocalist Brent Smith, guitarist Zach Myers, bassist and producer Eric Bass, and drummer Barry Kerch, will launch their massive “Dance Kid Dance Act II” world tour.

The official tracklist for Ei8ht is as follows:

  1. At The Bottom
