During the newest episode of “The Osbournes” podcast, Sharon Osbourne and her son Jack Osbourne sat down to clear the air on a few pressing issues. At the top of their list was a highly publicized lawsuit filed by veteran rock photographer Neil Zlozower over the usage of images featuring the late Ozzy.
The legal dispute dates back to February 2025, while the Prince of Darkness was still alive. According to the initial filing, images captured by Zlozower were posted across Ozzy‘s various social media channels without proper authorization or financial compensation, as reported by Billboard back in 2025. The lawsuit argued that the massive reach of these accounts—boasting 12 million followers on Facebook, 6 million on Instagram, and 5 million on X—provided a significant financial benefit to the legendary singer’s brand.
Sharon Osbourne did not hold back her anger regarding the situation. She noted her long personal history with the photographer before delivering a blistering message about his legal demands.
She said (via Loudwire): “He was from the old days, he was actually at our wedding.”
“[Someone on Ozzy‘s team] put up a picture of Ozzy and it was up for about two days on Ozzy‘s website and he’s suing us for $50,000 for putting up his picture. Apparently he’s done it to so many different artists too and it’s like, Neil — f**k you. F**k you and your f**king $50,000.”
After Jack Osbourne chimed in to clarify that the contested photos were actually uploaded to social media platforms rather than the official website, his mother doubled down on her frustration with the photographer’s current business practices.
“I don’t even remember but this piece of s**t is suing us for $50,000.”
“Neil makes a living about suing people. He’s older now, I don’t think he takes many pictures now. I don’t think he works now but he’s making a living.”
Moving on from the lawsuit, Jack asked if there was anything else she needed to officially clear up. This led to a brief, cryptic exchange about an undisclosed situation brewing in the near future.
“No, I think there will be in March,” Sharon said.
When Jack realized what she was hinting at, the two shared a quick laugh before quickly shutting the topic down.
Jack: “Oh yeah, that whole thing.”
Sharon: “F**k you too.”
The mother-son duo wrapped up the episode by discussing the highly anticipated return of Ozzfest. Sharon reiterated their plans to launch the 2027 revival with a two-day event at Villa Park in Birmingham, England—the exact venue where Ozzy and Black Sabbath played their massive “Back to the Beginning” retirement concert last year.
After assessing the response to the UK launch, the family plans to bring the festival to America, keeping the focus entirely on discovering fresh acts.
“We wanna do two days in Aston Villa and then come to America,” she explained. “And we wanna hear from everyone where we should go in America. And also we’ve gotta find a lot of young, new talent, because that’s what [Ozzy] would want.”
Jack clarified that the U.K. kickoff will take place at Villa Park—the home stadium of Aston Villa F.C. in Birmingham. After that, the crew plans to host another two-day weekend somewhere in North America. If the demand is as strong as expected, Sharon Osbourne noted that the festival could easily expand its reach and potentially return to the road in 2028 and beyond.
“Yeah. And then see how it does. And then if people want it, we’ll be there [in the] following years.”
