The feud between the Osbourne family and Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters has taken a bizarre and graphic turn. In a new interview on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” Sharon Osbourne revealed that she seriously considered executing a disgusting revenge plan against the bassist after he publicly disparaged her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne, shortly after his death.
Sharon told Morgan that she was prepared to utilize one of her notorious “Tiffany boxes”—a code for sending packages of feces to her enemies—but ultimately decided against it.
“I was going to send him one of my Tiffany boxes,” Sharon admitted during the broadcast. “[But] even that is a waste, to send s**t to him. It’s a waste because he’s really insignificant.”
The animosity stems from comments Waters made earlier this year with The Independent Ink. While discussing pop culture distractions, Waters dismissed Ozzy‘s legacy with brutal indifference.
“Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him, in his, whatever that state that he was in his whole life, we’ll never know,” Waters said at the time. “Although, he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense… The music, I have no idea, I couldn’t give a f**k. I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did.”
He also mocked the Prince of Darkness’ stage persona, adding: “‘Wahhhh!!!’ [sticks tongue out] and biting the heads off chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less.”
Sharon did not mince words when responding to the insults. She attacked Waters‘ character and recent controversies regarding his live performances.
“He was great, but his greatness didn’t last. He couldn’t do any great music on his own,” Sharon told Morgan. “He’s crazy though, he’s definitely, definitely not wired right. Five wives later, and [he] hates everybody that’s successful. He’s stomping around in his pathetic homemade N**i outfit. He’s nuts.”
Ultimately, Sharon held back on her revenge plot out of principle, arguing that there is a line of respect that shouldn’t be crossed when someone dies.
“I just thought, anybody that passes has a family… you don’t do that,” she concluded.
This isn’t the first time the Osbournes have fired back at the Pink Floyd musician. Over the summer, Jack Osbourne responded to the initial comments with a scathing Instagram post, writing: “Hey Roger Waters – f**k you… My father always thought you were a c**t – thanks for proving him right.”
The family also released a limited-edition t-shirt featuring artwork of Ozzy urinating on a wall similar to Pink Floyd‘s The Wall cover, emblazoned with the slogan “Another Prick in the Wall.” During a recent episode of “The Osbournes” podcast, Sharon described Waters as “probably one of the most sick individuals I’ve come across in years” and “a sad, irrelevant, old, miserable human being.”
