The world’s foremost event for brand extension and IP collaboration, Informa Markets’ Licensing Expo, has announced an exclusive fireside chat featuring Sharon Osbourne and Jack Osbourne. The session will take place during Licensing Expo 2026, held May 19 through 21 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Titled “The Enduring Legacy Of A Rock Icon And His Family: Ozzy Osbourne And The Osbournes“, the keynote discussion is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, at 2:00 p.m. PST on the License Global Main Stage.

Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary Prince Of Darkness, remains an indelible force in music and pop culture. From defining heavy metal with Black Sabbath to a massive solo career, his impact spans generations. The family’s cultural footprint expanded massively with the premiere of “The Osbournes,” a pioneering reality series that offered an unfiltered look at rock and roll domestic life. As that series approaches its 25th anniversary in 2027, the family brand is preparing for a significant period of growth focused on licensing, strategic partnerships, and renewed fan engagement.

Interest in the musician’s legacy continues to surge thanks to several major upcoming projects. These include a highly anticipated biopic exploring his life, the upcoming theatrical project, and the confirmed return of Ozzfest in 2027.

The overarching licensing program has steadily expanded into fashion, collectibles, and emerging digital markets, all anchored by the rebellious spirit that defines the brand. The overarching Osbournes family brand is concurrently being developed for new categories that reflect their signature humor and authentic voice.

During the Las Vegas chat, Sharon and Jack Osbourne will provide behind-the-scenes insights into the ongoing evolution of these brands, examining how strategic partnerships preserve an iconic entertainment legacy for future generations.

The panel will be moderated by Jens Drinkwater and Lisa Streff, head of licensing and senior vice president of licensing and brand development, respectively, at Global Merchandising Services. The company is actively expanding the official licensing program through new collections and collaborations.

“The opportunity to gain rare insight from Sharon and Jack Osbourne is an exciting and unique addition to Licensing Expo,” stated Amanda Cioletti, vice president of content and strategy for the Global Licensing Group. “Ozzy Osbourne‘s influence continues to resonate with millions of fans around the world, and the Osbournes remain one of the most recognizable families in entertainment. This session speaks directly to the power of licensing to preserve legacy, build community, and introduce iconic brands to new generations.”

Ozzy‘s legacy has always been bigger than music. It is attitude, humor, honesty, chaos, heart, and a connection with fans that has lasted for generations,” Sharon and Jack Osbourne shared in a joint statement. “The Osbournes became part of people’s lives because it was real, and that authenticity is still at the center of everything we do. We are looking forward to speaking at Licensing Expo about how we protect that legacy while building the next chapter in a way that feels true to who we are.”

“We have had the privilege of working closely with the Ozzy Osbourne brand, and it has been incredibly rewarding to see how deeply it continues to connect with fans across generations,” added Jens Drinkwater and Lisa Streff. “Ozzy‘s legacy and the Osbournes‘ cultural impact continue to evolve in powerful ways. Licensing Expo is the perfect place to explore that next chapter with the global licensing community.”

Licensing Expo 2026 will feature an extensive roster of major exhibitors spanning entertainment, fashion, and gaming, including companies like Paramount, Warner Bros. Discovery, LEGO, and SEGA.
