On Tuesday, July 15, Andreas Kisser, the renowned guitarist for Sepultura, performed a special instrumental concert with his 27-year-old son, Yohan Kisser. Their project, Kisser Clan, showcased their musical prowess at Teatro Anchieta, located within SESC Consolação in São Paulo. The nearly 90-minute performance captivated the audience with a diverse setlist that seamlessly blended progressive rock, heavy metal, acoustic music, and virtuosic musicianship. The concert served as a testament to the Kissers’ shared passion for music, featuring tributes to legendary bands such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin. Fans were treated to powerful interpretations of classics, including Metallica’s instrumentals “Orion” and “The Call of Ktulu,” Led Zeppelin’s iconic drum solo “Moby Dick,” and Black Sabbath’s acoustic pieces “Laguna Sunrise” and “Orchid.” The set also honored their own with Sepultura tracks like “Jasco,” “Guardians of Earth,” and “Kaiowas.”
Joining Andreas and Yohan Kisser on stage were Gustavo Giglio on bass, Amilcar Christofáro on drums, and Renato Zanuto on keyboards, completing a lineup that delivered a dynamic and memorable evening of music.
