Scorpions Celebrate 60th Anniversary With Career-Spanning Set; Full Bucharest Concert Surfaces Online

German rock legends Scorpions celebrate 60 years. New footage of their full Bucharest concert is now available for fans to watch.

Scorpions Romania Live 2025

German rock legends Scorpions are celebrating their monumental 60th anniversary with a career-spanning world tour, and fans can now get a front-row seat to the action with newly surfaced, full-show footage from their recent concert in Bucharest, Romania. In a powerful display of their enduring legacy, the band delivered a hit-filled, 18-song set that is a testament to their incredible longevity. You can watch the video down below.

The fan-filmed video captures the band’s September 11 performance at Romexpo in Bucharest. The setlist for the “Coming Home To Romania” show seamlessly blended their biggest global anthems like “Wind of Change” and “Rock You Like a Hurricane” with newer material such as “Gas In The Tank” from their 2022 album Rock Believer, and a medley of deep cuts from the 1970s including “Top Of The Bill” and “Speedy’s Coming.”

This successful European run comes after a year that has tested the band’s resilience. Their Las Vegas residency, originally scheduled for January, was postponed due to drummer Mikkey Dee‘s hospitalization. When the rescheduled shows took place in August, the band had to recruit Alice Cooper bassist Chuck Garric to fill in for longtime member Paweł Mąciwoda, who had a scheduling conflict. Despite these hurdles, the band has continued to deliver powerful performances to packed houses.

Even after six decades, the Scorpions remain a vital creative force. Their latest studio album, Rock Believer, was a product of their determination to work through the global pandemic. The band self-produced the record in their hometown of Hannover, Germany, after initial plans to work with producer Greg Fidelman (Metallica, Slipknot) in Los Angeles were thwarted by lockdowns.
