Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar has announced a major one-two punch for his fans: his acclaimed “The Best Of All Worlds” residency will return to Las Vegas for 11 dates in 2026, and he will capture the magic of the run with a new, 19-track live album set for release next month.
The announcement, made on Monday, September 15, confirms that the Red Rocker will bring his powerhouse supergroup back to Dolby Live at Park MGM for a series of shows in March and September of 2026. The residency promises a deep dive into Hagar‘s entire career, including his iconic years with Van Halen.
In a statement, Hagar shared his immense excitement for the new dates and the accompanying live record.
“I can’t tell you how hard it’s been not to leak this announcement,” Hagar said. “Those last nine shows were some of the best shows I’ve done in my life. I love this band like no other and can’t wait to do it again. One listen to the live residency record coming out and you will understand this is my idea of retirement! Beats golf any day.”
The band for the residency features a lineup of legendary musicians, including fellow Hall of Famer and original Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, 15-time Grammy-nominated guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, and powerhouse drummer Kenny Aronoff.
To give fans a taste of the live experience, Hagar will release Sammy Hagar & The Best Of All Worlds Band – The Residency on October 10 via Big Machine Rock. The 19-track album was recorded during his first successful run at Dolby Live. The first single from the album, a live version of the Van Halen classic “Summer Nights,” is available now on all streaming platforms.
Tickets for the 2026 residency will be available to the general public starting Friday, September 19, with a series of pre-sales beginning on Tuesday, September 16.
