Canadian rock legends Rush are officially heading back to the UK. The band has just announced a four-date run of massive arena shows scheduled for March 2027, serving as the highly anticipated UK leg of their ongoing “Fifty Something Tour.”
Leading the charge are core members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson. To bring the live production to life, they will be joined by touring drummer Anika Nilles and newly recruited keyboardist Loren Gold.
The 18-date European tour will run from February through April 2027. In addition to the UK, the trek will make stops in France, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
In the same announcement, Rush also revealed six South American dates, scheduled for January and early February in 2027.
These dates include:
- January 15: Buenos Aires, AR
- January 22: Curitiba, BR
- January 24: São Paulo, BR
- January 30: Rio De Janeiro, BR
- February 01: Belo Horizonte, BR
- February 04: Brasília, BR
These upcoming performances will mark Rush‘s first live appearances in the UK since their 2013 trek in support of the Clockwork Angels album. Both Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee have previously shared their regrets that their 2015 R40 Live farewell tour never made it overseas. It also marks their first South American live shows in 17 years.
Geddy Lee says: “We can’t wait to get back to all these cities we haven’t played in so long, as well as hitting some new places we’ve yet to play. Both Alex and I are loving the hours of rehearsal time we’re spending with Anika and now Loren, learning around 40 songs which will enable us to keep the shows evolving, playing some different songs on different nights. We are thrilled that many of our longstanding crew have come back to help us design the kind of Rush show that fans have grown accustomed to expect from us. We dearly hope you will come along and help us celebrate 50 years of Rush music, while giving Neil the long overdue tribute he so richly deserves.”
The upcoming shows will feature a special “evening with” format, meaning Rush will perform two full sets each night. The band is currently building a rotating setlist from a massive catalog of over 40 songs, ensuring that fans are treated to a distinct mix of greatest hits and deep cuts at every single stop.
The 2027 overseas dates follow the band’s extensive 58-date North American leg, which is scheduled to run from June through December 2026.
