Rush have postponed their scheduled performance in Fort Worth, Texas, originally set for June 24 at Dickies Arena, with the show now rescheduled for July 2.
The change arrives during the band’s first tour in over a decade, a run that has already drawn major attention for its scale and historical significance. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees kicked off the highly anticipated trek earlier this month with four sold-out shows at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, marking the band’s first tour performance in 11 years. The show launched a landmark run celebrating more than five decades of Rush music and legacy, bringing the band full circle, as Kia Forum was also the site of Rush’s final R40 Tour performance on August 1, 2015, with longtime band member Neil Peart, who passed away in 2020.
The Fort Worth postponement is due to logistical complications following the band’s recent Mexico City dates. Rush issued an official statement addressing the situation and confirming that all tickets will remain valid for the new date.
The statement reads:
Due to unforeseen travel and border-related delays impacting our touring production following our recent Mexico City tour dates, tonight’s show in Fort Worth at Dickies Arena has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 2.
All fans holding a ticket for tonight’s June 24 show will be able to use that same ticket for the rescheduled performance on July 2 at Dickies Arena.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding given this circumstance out of our control.
Fans who are unable to attend the rescheduled date may request a refund through Ticketmaster if tickets were purchased there. For tickets purchased through other outlets, please contact your original point of purchase for assistance.
The Fifty Something tour will resume as scheduled for the remaining dates, and we look forward to seeing everyone starting this Friday!

Despite the schedule adjustment, the remaining Fort Worth-area shows are still set to take place later this week, with the band continuing the run as planned.
For the 2026 trek, bassist and vocalist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson are joined by German drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold.
