The bizarre and bitter feud between Falling In Reverse vocalist Ronnie Radke and Brittany Furlan, the spouse of Mötley Crüe icon Tommy Lee, has moved from social media skirmishes to the courtroom. On Monday, January 5, Radke formally petitioned the Los Angeles Superior Court for a temporary restraining order, citing instances of alleged stalking that escalated to physical surveillance.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Radke claims the harassment went beyond digital exchanges. The singer alleges that after he ceased responding to Furlan‘s messages, she physically traveled to his residence and sat outside his property. In a more concerning accusation, Radke claims she trailed him to a private doctor’s appointment, where she waited outside the medical facility and watched him. The filing requests that the court mandate Furlan stay at least 100 yards away from him at all times.
The response from Furlan‘s camp was swift and dismissive. Following the news of the filing, her attorney Lou Shapiro released a statement categorically denying Radke‘s narrative and flipping the accusation of harassment back onto the singer.
“Ms. Furlan is offended to find out this petition was filed because the only victim of harassment is her,” Shapiro stated. “We will take all legal measures to defend against this frivolous lawsuit and request the Ms. Furlan be protected from further harassment and threats by the petitioner.”
The conflict traces its roots back to last year, centering on a bizarre misunderstanding involving Snapchat. Radke has consistently maintained that Furlan was deceived by an online impersonator posing as him. He publicly stated that Furlan had “fell in love with a Ronnie Radke impersonator on Snapchat” and that the trouble began when she allegedly drove to his home under the false impression they were communicating.
Radke further claimed that even after he clarified he wasn’t the person behind the account, Furlan “refused to believe” the reality of the situation. He also accused her of escalating the conflict by “calling my lawyer and threatening me”.
The drama inevitably pulled in Furlan‘s husband, Tommy Lee. In an attempt to clear his name, Radke previously shared screenshots of a tense text message exchange with the drummer.
In the messages, Radke attempted to de-escalate, writing to Lee: “I like you bro I wouldn’t mess with your wife”.
Lee’s reply was curt: “That’s funny because she says you’re lying”.
While the situation seemed to have cooled, it reignited over the past weekend when Furlan posted to her Instagram Stories. She shared screenshots of messages and comments from a user she claimed was harassing her, telling her followers that the individual “kept messaging me and leaving f**ked up comments on my page,” as well as targeting the social media profiles of Tommy Lee and Radke’s ex-girlfriend, Saraya.
Prior to this latest legal maneuver, Furlan had aired her grievances in a since-deleted seven-minute TikTok video. In that clip, she expressed her exhaustion with the feud. “I had enough,” she said, asserting that Radke had “been harassing me for two weeks. He’s been sent three cease and desists and has not listened.”
With a temporary restraining order now on the docket, a judge will soon decide the next steps in this tangled rock and roll conflict.
