In a move that perfectly blends his dual careers in music and film, industrial shock rocker Rob Zombie has announced his eighth studio album, The Great Satan, and has released its first single, “Punks And Demons.” Fans who attended the 20th-anniversary screenings of his classic horror film, “The Devil’s Rejects“, earlier this week were treated to an advance listen of the new track before its official public release.
The new album, which is Zombie‘s first since 2021’s The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy, is scheduled for release on February 27, 2026, via Nuclear Blast. The sprawling, 15-track record was once again produced by Zeuss, who has helmed Zombie’s most recent studio albums.
The announcement and new single arrive as Zombie has been in a retrospective mood, celebrating his past work. At the recent Louder Than Life festival, he performed a special set heavy on songs from his former band White Zombie‘s classic 1995 album, Astro-Creep: 2000. He also recently released a children’s spelling book based on the characters from his 2003 feature film directorial debut, House of 1000 Corpses.
