During a recent interview with Mike Hsu of “100 FM The Pike“, Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner was questioned about a possible “timeline” for the band’s touring and recording activity going forward.

He responded (as transcribed by Blabbermouth): “I don’t have it. I mean, I joined the band on a farewell tour, and that was 15 years ago. So if I know anything about those guys, they live for it too. We’re doing another record. We’re doing another tour this year. And I’ve seen the cycle. We do a new record and we get fired up to play live. And then you play live and you get fired up to do some more tunes in the studio. You do the album and you get fired up to go out again. And they’ve been doing that for 50 years. So I don’t see that that changing anytime soon. So, yeah, I mean, if history tells us anything, [it’s] that they’re gonna be around for a while.”

Yesterday, March 17, Judas Priest further expanded their upcoming “Faithkeepers” European Tour 2026, adding a substantial run of new dates that extend the trek well into September.

Originally set to wrap in late August, the tour will now continue across additional territories, bringing the band’s legendary live show to more cities throughout Southern and Western Europe. The newly confirmed leg includes first-time stops on this run in the Balkans, along with an extensive stretch of shows across Italy and France before closing out in Belgium.
