The full catalog of exclusive releases for Record Store Day 2026 has been unveiled, confirming that this year’s event will be a significant one for collectors of hard rock and heavy metal. Scheduled for Saturday, April 18, at independent record shops globally, the drop list features highly anticipated rarities, long-awaited debuts, and anniversary reissues.

The undeniable centerpiece of this year’s heavy selection is the physical arrival of the “lost” 2008 album Look Outside Your Window. Recorded by Corey Taylor, Shawn “Clown” Crahan, Jim Root, and Sid Wilson during the sessions for Slipknot‘s All Hope Is Gone, the psychedelic project has attained mythical status among fans after nearly two decades of delays. It finally sees the light of day this April.

Modern metal juggernauts are also well-represented. Sleep Token will offer a 12-inch vinyl pressing of the single Caramel, backed by an instrumental rendition of Emergence—a cut previously available only in the Japanese market. Meanwhile, blackgaze innovators Deafheaven will release their 2025 live session from the KEXP studios on wax for the first time.

Nostalgia plays a major role in the 2026 lineup. Meshuggah is issuing remastered anniversary editions of their technical metal landmarks Destroy Erase Improve and Catch Thirtythree. Thrash legends Megadeth are bringing the rarities collection Hidden Treasures back to vinyl, and Mötley Crüe will celebrate 45 years as a band with a colored 12-inch reissue of their debut single, Live Wire.

Other unique offerings include a collectible Ozzy Osbourne vinyl figure from Handmade By Robots, and a special package from Pearl Jam that bundles a photo book from their Dark Matter tour with a live 7-inch record. Texan doom favorites The Sword are also digging into their history, pressing the early EP Four Songs—originally sold as a CD-R at concerts in 2005—to vinyl.
