Stephen Pearcy, best known as the voice of Ratt, has offered fans an early taste of his sixth solo album with a preview of the track “Drive.” A clip of the song is available on his Instagram. Pearcy wrote the track himself, and it features a yet-to-be-revealed guest guitarist — one of several special contributors appearing on the record. The album was co-produced by Pearcy alongside early Ratt bassist (circa 1981) Matt Thorne and will be released through his own Top Fuel Records, with the exact date still to be announced.
Later this month, Pearcy will step away from recording to perform on February 26 at the Yaamava’ Theater in Highland, California, joined by guitar standout Warren DeMartini — his longtime Ratt bandmate and current collaborator under the Pearcy/DeMartini banner. The show is part of “The Undercover Tour,” which combines solo appearances with Pearcy/DeMartini dates.
On January 26, Pearcy also reunited with DeMartini at The Roxy in Los Angeles during the Metal Hall Of Fame ceremony, where DeMartini was honored as a Sunset Strip Inductee — an award Pearcy himself received in 2020.
At the upcoming shows, Pearcy is offering a personalized post-show VIP meet-and-greet experience, allowing fans to interact with him, have items signed, and purchase exclusive memorabilia. With tickets limited, advance purchase is encouraged. He is also inviting fans to join him on Patreon for behind-the-scenes access to his life at home and on tour.
