President have released a nine-song in-studio performance, filmed at Rockfield Studios in Wales, three days after their debut album arrived.
Zak Pinchin, who has previously worked with Chiodos and Loathe, directed the session.
The choice of room is not incidental. Rockfield, a residential studio on a working farm in Monmouthshire, is where Queen recorded “Bohemian Rhapsody” and where Oasis made (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?, with Black Sabbath, Rush and Coldplay among the many others who have worked there.
The setlist:
- “Fearless“
- “Dionysus“
- “Mercy“
- “Angel Wings“
- “DOOM LOOP“
- “Conclave“
- “Destroy Me“
- “dark heaven“
- “In The Name Of The Father“
The set draws on both of the band’s releases, mixing songs from Blood Of Your Empire with four taken from last year’s King Of Terrors EP.
Blood Of Your Empire was released on September 4 through Atlantic Records, ten tracks running just over 37 minutes. The band wrote and produced all of it themselves.
Much of it was made in transit. The frontman has said the record was largely written and self-produced while the band were touring with Architects and Bad Omens, using a mobile setup that let them build material on the road.
Four songs preceded it: “Angel Wings” in February, “Mercy” in March, “DOOM LOOP” in May and “dark heaven” at the end of July.
President are an anonymous English band who perform in masks, credited as “The President” on vocals, “Heist” on guitar, “Protest” on bass and “Vice” on drums. The project began as one person’s work before expanding into a full group.
They appeared at Download Festival in June 2025 as an unannounced act and filled their tent, played their first headline show the following month, and signed to Atlantic after touring with Architects. Their debut EP King Of Terrors followed in September 2025.
The rise has been quick enough to generate its own argument. At Slam Dunk Festival this year their crowd was comparable to that of the stage headliners, and a UK tour including a 5,000-capacity show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton sold out within hours. The band’s identity has been the subject of persistent speculation, which they have never addressed.
