Linkin Park kicked off the South American leg of their “From Zero” world tour on Saturday with a special surprise for the Bogotá, Colombia, crowd. During their 27-song set, the band’s official tour support act, Poppy, joined them on stage for a powerful collaborative performance of their classic hit, “One Step Closer.”

The performance, which took place at the Vive Claro venue on October 25, saw Poppy and new Linkin Park frontwoman Emily Armstrong dividing the song’s iconic vocal duties. Fan-shot footage shows Poppy handling the track’s intense, screamed bridge, yelling, “‘Cause I’m one step closer to the edge / And I’m about to break,” while Armstrong delivered the melodic chorus, “Everything that you say to me.”

The show was the first of the band’s South American run, a continuation of the massive world tour supporting their 2024 comeback album, From Zero. The setlist was broken into four acts, opening with “Somewhere I Belong” and “Points of Authority.” The band performed a mix of new material from From Zero, including “The Emptiness Machine” and “Heavy Is The Crown,” alongside timeless fan favorites like “Numb,” “In The End,” and “What I’ve Done.” The set also included a cover of Mike Shinoda‘s Fort Minor project, “Where’d You Go.”

Poppy is scheduled to support Linkin Park on all of their upcoming South American dates. The performance caps off a massive year for the singer, who recently collaborated with Evanescence‘s Amy Lee and Spiritbox‘s Courtney LaPlante on the single “End Of You.” Of that collaboration, Poppy described the concept as “our version of a dark Moulin Rouge, like ‘Lady Marmalade’?”
