Founding Poison drummer Rikki Rockett is hitting the road to celebrate the band’s landmark debut album, Look What The Cat Dragged In. Backed by his new group, The Rockett Mafia, the veteran drummer has scheduled a string of U.S. tour dates where he will perform the iconic record in its absolute entirety.

The classic album, which is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary, spawned massive genre-defining hits such as “Talk Dirty To Me“, “I Want Action“, “Cry Tough“, and the fan-favorite title track. This upcoming trek represents a major piece of heavy metal history, as it marks the very first time the record will be performed live from front to back.

Expressing his excitement about bringing the old-school material back to the stage, Rikki Rockett said:

“Playing Poison‘s first album with The Rockett Mafia is a full-circle moment for me. It’s raw, it’s fun, and it’s exactly how those songs were meant to be heard. Celebrating the 40th anniversary is really about giving the fans a chance to relive that moment with us.”

In a separate video message to his fanbase, he expanded on the band’s plans for the tour and teased some exclusive opportunities for attendees.

“It’s gonna be a celebration of Look What The Cat Dragged In. We’re calling it ‘Look What The Mob Dragged In‘, going across this country. We’re gonna perform everything, from the first chord to the last scream of that record, plus more, some fan favorites. But we’re not gonna stop there. We’re gonna offer some really cool VIP packages where you can, of course, meet the band, take a picture, come to a soundcheck, signed merch, all kinds of really cool stuff. Make sure to go to rockettmafia.com and get all that information on tickets and VIP packages, when and where we’re playing. We’re gonna upload some really cool content as well along the way.”

Joining the legendary drummer in The Rockett Mafia is a stacked roster of hard rock veterans. The lineup features frontman and guitarist Brandon Gibbs (Devil City Angels), lead guitarist Stacey Blades (L.A. Guns), and bassist Tyson Leslie. The quartet promises to deliver a high-octane stage show, blending ’70s and ’80s classic rock energy with a modernized, heavy edge.
