Stanley Simmons, the duo of Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons, have shared “Lilith“, the sixth single from their August 28 debut album.
Stanley Simmons have now released half of Dancing While The World Is Ending before the record has arrived. “Lilith” is the sixth of its twelve tracks to go public, and it lands three weeks ahead of the August 28 release date.
The video, directed by Greg Furman, is out now.
The project belongs to Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons, sons of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of Kiss. “Lilith” follows “Body Down“, the title track “Dancing While The World Is Ending“, “Temporary Love“, “Cellophane” and “Don’t Leave Me Here Like That“.
What makes the release schedule worth noting is how recently the band did not exist. The two grew up together on tour buses, but had never played music with each other. That changed in December 2024, when they filmed what was meant to be a throwaway Instagram reel and ended up in front of microphones together for the first time.
“We were shocked,” Evan and Nick said. “The chemistry was instant. The way our voices locked together… it was undeniable.”
By February 2025 they were writing, still treating it as something casual, and the results held up. They have described the outcome as the kind of record each had privately wanted to make: expressive, organic and built on musicianship and storytelling rather than production.
Bedroom demos were enough to bring in Rob Cavallo, whose production credits run through Green Day, Fleetwood Mac, Paramore, My Chemical Romance and Dave Matthews. He signed on to produce the album and then took on management of the duo as well.
Paul Stanley has heard the finished record and did not hedge about it. Speaking to “WCSX” in April, the Kiss frontman said: “It’s amazing that totally organically, Evan, my son and Nick, Gene’s son, about a year ago started making music together. They’ve known each other their whole lives, but this bond they’ve had with music and this album they’ve done is crazy good. I heard it and I just went ‘wow, this is nuts.’ And it’s nothing like Kiss, but it’s so smart and the writing is great.”

Stanley Simmons played their first show on May 4 at the House Of Blues Voodoo Room in San Diego, followed by a short California run through Santa Ana, Morro Bay and Ventura.
Their first full American tour, billed as the “Dancing While The World Is Ending 2026 US Tour“, opens on September 14 at Three Links Deep Ellum in Dallas and closes on November 3 at the Troubadour in West Hollywood.
