Official Unboxing Video Released For Heaven & Hell’s ‘Breaking Out Of Heaven 2007–2009’

The legendary final collaboration between Ronnie James Dio and his Black Sabbath bandmates—Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Vinny Appice—will be celebrated next month with a definitive new collection. Rhino has announced the release of Breaking Out Of Heaven 2007-2009, a sprawling box set dedicated to the group’s tenure under the moniker Heaven & Hell.

Scheduled to hit shelves on March 27, the release chronicles the unexpected and triumphant “second act” of this iconic lineup, which reunited in 2006 to tour and record for the first time in over a decade. The set will be available in two deluxe formats: a 4-CD/Blu-ray edition and a massive 7-LP vinyl collection.

The box set brings together the band’s entire output from this era, including their 2009 Top 10 studio album The Devil You Know, as well as two acclaimed live albums: Live From Radio City Music Hall (2007) and Neon Nights: 30 Years Of Heaven & Hell – Live at Wacken (2009).

For vinyl enthusiasts, this release offers several firsts. The complete Live From Radio City Music Hall performance is making its debut on wax, alongside eight other tracks that have never appeared on vinyl before, including studio cuts originally released on the The Dio Years compilation.

Both physical editions come packed with collector’s items, including a replica tour book, a poster, and an illustrated book featuring new liner notes by Hugh Gilmour. The Blu-ray disc included in the CD version features the concert films for both Radio City and Neon Nights, plus interviews and a road documentary.
