German progressive death metal pioneers Obscura are set to bring their technical wizardry back to American soil this spring. The band has officially announced the “Stardust” tour, an 18-date trek scheduled for March and April 2026 that will serve as the latest leg of their massive “A Sonication World Tour.“
The run kicks off on the West Coast with a performance at the legendary Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood on March 13, before sweeping through Texas, the East Coast, and the Midwest, finally wrapping up in Roseville, California, on April 3.
To ensure a night of relentless precision, Obscura has curated a formidable support package. Joining them will be American tech-death heavyweights Allegaeon and Cognitive, along with Dutch avant-garde thrashers Cryptosis.
Obscura mastermind Steffen Kummerer issued a statement detailing what fans can expect from the setlist, promising a mix of fresh tracks and rarities.
“Obscura will return to the United States in March and April 2026 as part of the ongoing ‘A Sonication World Tour‘ (2025–2027). We look forward to presenting material from the new album alongside a selection of deep cuts that have never been performed live before. Joining us are Allegaeon and Cognitive from the United States — both leading forces in modern technical and progressive death metal — and Dutch avant-garde thrash unit Cryptosis, completing a powerful and diverse lineup.
