Obituary have expanded their 2026 summer touring plans with a new batch of U.S. headlining shows, adding more stops around their previously confirmed appearances alongside thrash metal icons Megadeth.
The run strengthens an already busy schedule for the veteran death metallers, who will be balancing club headliners with festival appearances and select larger co-headline-style dates across the United States.
The newly announced shows will see Obituary hitting a mix of intimate venues and regional stops throughout late July and early August, with the band focusing heavily on the Midwest and Southeast.
Their updated itinerary includes:
- 24 July 2026 – Pensacola, FL – Handlebar
- 25 July 2026 – Atlanta, GA – 529
- 26 July 2026 – Memphis, TN – Growlers
- 28 July 2026 – Bloomington, IL – Castle Theatre
- 30 July 2026 – Chicago, IL – Beat Kitchen
- 03 August 2026 – Louisville, KY – Zanzabar
- 04 August 2026 – Asheville, NC – Revival
These headlining dates fill the gaps between larger-scale performances and festival commitments, keeping the band on the road throughout the peak of the summer touring season.
Alongside their club dates, Obituary will also join Megadeth for a pair of summer performances:
- 31 July 2026 – La Crosse, WI – Oktoberfest Grounds (with Megadeth)
- 01 August 2026 – Green Bay, WI – Capitol Credit Union Park (with Megadeth)
The band’s schedule also includes a couple of notable festival and special-event appearances later in the summer:
- 15–16 August 2026 – Los Angeles, CA – Sound and Fury Festival
- 21 August 2026 – New York, NY – The Rooftop at Pier 17 (with Acid Bath and Thou)
These shows round out a diverse touring stretch that moves from club environments to large outdoor events and festival stages.
Tickets for the newly announced headlining dates will go on sale starting 02 July 2026 at 10:00am local time.
