Industrial metal titans Nine Inch Nails are thrilling audiences with an array of rare and reimagined tracks on their newly launched “Peel It Back World Tour“. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, led by masterminds Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, showcased their innovative live approach at their second tour stop on June 17, 2025, at Co-op Live in Manchester, UK.

The performance once again featured Nine Inch Nails distinctive dual-stage setup: one stage employed intricate lighting and projections on transparent fabric for a visually immersive experience, while the other offered a more intimate “in-the-round” setting. The Manchester show immediately captivated fans by opening with the first-ever live performance of “A Minute To Breathe.” This track, a collaboration between Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, originally appeared on their 2016 Before The Flood album.

The evening continued to deliver rare gems, including a newly reworked rendition of “That’s What I Get,” a cut from their seminal 1989 album Pretty Hate Machine. This marked the first time the song had been played live since 1991, offering a profound moment for long-time followers. Another significant return to the setlist was the title track from their sprawling 2x platinum third studio album, The Fragile. Also presented with a fresh arrangement, this was the first live performance of “The Fragile” since 2009.

Adding to the dynamic, “Branches/Bones” from 2016’s Not The Actual Events made its live comeback for the first time since 2018. This track was notably remixed on the spot with the direct collaboration of tour opener Boys Noize, who joined Nine Inch Nails on the B-stage for several tracks, including “Vessel” and “Came Back Haunted.”

Fan-filmed footage of the Manchester concert highlights the visual spectacle and the band’s commanding presence, underscoring why Nine Inch Nails remains a formidable force in live music. This “Peel It Back World Tour” marks Nine Inch Nails’ first extensive trek since 2022, promising an unforgettable experience for fans across Europe and North America.
