Nickelback Returns With New Album ‘Everything Under The Sun’, Shares ‘Rattle The Cage’ Featuring John 5

Canadian rock juggernauts Nickelback are officially entering their next era. The band has announced their forthcoming studio album, Everything Under The Sun, which is slated for a worldwide release on October 30, 2026, through Virgin Music Group. To celebrate the announcement, the group has unleashed a heavy-hitting lead single titled “Rattle The Cage“, featuring a guest appearance from acclaimed guitar virtuoso John 5.

Serving as the inaugural taste of their upcoming record, “Rattle The Cage” highlights a fiercely aggressive side of Nickelback. The track comes fully loaded with the massive, arena-ready riffs and explosive rhythmic hooks that initially catapulted the group to global superstardom.

This highly anticipated release marks the first batch of fresh material from the band since their widely successful 2022 album, Get Rollin’. The Canadian quartet is currently riding a massive wave of career momentum, hot on the heels of their acclaimed documentary film “Hate To Love: Nickelback” and the accompanying Get Rollin’ world tour, which officially went down in history as the fastest-selling and most attended trek of their extensive career.

Discussing the creative direction of the upcoming record, frontman Chad Kroeger explained that the new material captures the complete sonic spectrum of the band’s identity.
