New Arch Enemy Teaser Strongly Hints At Angela Gossow Reunion

Swedish melodic death metal outfit Arch Enemy has dropped another massive hint regarding their vacant vocalist position.

Angela Gossow Live 2012

Swedish melodic death metal outfit Arch Enemy has dropped another massive hint regarding their vacant vocalist position. A newly released second teaser video has sent the rumor mill into overdrive, strongly suggesting the return of their legendary former frontwoman, Angela Gossow.

The latest clip concludes with a highly symbolic visual: a woman stepping up to grab a microphone while wearing a very specific style of gloves. While the video purposefully hides her face, longtime followers of the band immediately recognized the gloves as a famous staple of Gossow’s classic onstage wardrobe.

This new footage comes on the heels of a coordinated social media blackout. Just days ago, both Arch Enemy and Gossow uploaded identical cryptic videos and darkened their profile pictures, sparking the initial wave of reunion theories.

Adding to the mounting excitement, unverified reports are circulating that the band is preparing to release a brand-new single titled “To the Last Breath” on February 19. While the band has not officially confirmed the track’s existence or release date, the timing lines up perfectly with their current promotional campaign.

All of this activity follows the recent exit of Alissa White-Gluz, who fronted the band for over a decade. When the split occurred on November 23, 2025, the band issued the following official statement:

Arch Enemy have parted ways with singer Alissa White-Gluz. We’re thankful for the time and music we’ve shared and wish her all the best. Wherever there is an ending, there is also a beginning. See you in 2026.”

On November 23, 2025, White-Gluz also confirmed the split:

“After 12 years in Arch Enemy, we have parted ways,” she stated at the time. “I am forever thankful to the thousands of amazing fans I have met along the way.”

Gossow stepped down from vocal duties in 2014 for personal reasons but never truly left the Arch Enemy camp, continuing to work closely behind the scenes as their business manager while endorsing White-Gluz as her successor.

Explaining her departure in March 2014, Gossow shared:

“While I have enjoyed my time with the group, it is time for me to move on, be with my family and pursue other interests.”

She added:

“Passing the torch to the super talented Alissa White-Gluz, whom I’ve known as a dear friend and a superb vocalist for many years. I always thought she deserved a chance to shine – and now she’s getting it. Just like I got that chance back in 2001.”

While an official announcement has yet to be made, the combination of the gloved figure, the synchronized social media reset, and the looming February 19 rumor points to a massive, full-circle moment for the band.
