The highly anticipated Devil May Cry series is set to premiere on Netflix tomorrow, April 3, and it’s shaping up to have a strong nü-metal vibe. In addition to featuring a new single from Evanescence and a Limp Bizkit track in the trailer, the soundtrack includes Papa Roach’s “Last Resort“, “Guerrilla Radio” by Rage Against the Machine, and the nostalgic hit “Butterfly” by Crazy Town.

The full soundtrack for Season 1 includes:

  • Afterlife” – Evanescence
  • Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)” – Limp Bizkit
  • Guerrilla Radio” – Rage Against the Machine
  • Last Resort (Power Glove Version)” – Papa Roach
  • Devil Trigger (Power Glove Version)” – Casey Edwards
  • Butterfly” – Crazy Town
  • [REDACTED]” – Green Day
  • Bury the Light (Power Glove Version)” – Casey Edwards
  • Ghost (feat. Power Glove)” – Gunship

Devil May Cry is adapted from Capcom’s popular video game franchise, originally created by Hideki Kamiya. The series itself was developed by Adi Shankar and produced by Studio Mir. It will begin streaming on April 3 on Netflix. As for what to expect, Netflix describes the show as follows: “Sinister forces are at play at the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon hunter for hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck.”

Evanescence has released their new single “Afterlife” alongside the debut of Netflix‘s animated series. The track was co-written by Alex Mako Seaver and Evanescence‘s Amy Lee and co-produced by Nick Raskulinecz and Seaver.

In addition, Evanescence and Halestorm recently began teasing a tour, and now the dates are here. The two bands will be hitting the road together this October for a Canadian tour.

Given their busy schedule of U.S. festival dates throughout the summer, a U.S. tour could also be in the works, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Evanescence and Halestorm tour dates:

  • 10/15 Vancouver, BC – Rogers Arena
  • 10/16 Kelowna, BC – Prospera Place
  • 10/18 Calgary, AB – Scotiabank Saddledome
  • 10/20 Edmonton, AB – Rogers Place
  • 10/22 Winnipeg, MB – Canada Life Centre
  • 10/25 Montreal, QC – Bell Centre
  • 10/26 Quebec City, QC – Videotron Centre
