Napalm Death Announce 2026 ‘Campaign For Musical Destruction’ Tour With Whiplash And The Varukers

The “grind masters” Napalm Death have announced the 2026 version of their iconic “Campaign For Musical Destruction” tour. The annual European and UK trek is set to kick off on January 30 in Koln, Germany, and will run for a full month before concluding in Napalm Death‘s hometown of Birmingham, UK, on March 1.

As always, the tour features a powerful and diverse package of “sonically and ethically like-minded acts.” Joining the headliners for the 2026 run are veteran US thrash metal legends Whiplash and iconic UK D-beat/punk rock pioneers The Varukers. A fourth and final support act is reportedly still to be announced.

The “Campaign For Musical Destruction” tour has become one of the most enduring and respected institutions in extreme music, running for over 30 years. First launched in the early 1990s, the tour has earned a “legendary” reputation for its eclectic lineups, consistently blending genres and championing the underground. The moniker was first used on a European tour with Obituary and Dismember, but it was the 1992 US version—featuring Carcass, Cathedral, and Brutal Truth—that cemented its status as a premier event for extreme music.

The 2026 lineup continues this tradition, bridging the gap between thrash, grindcore, and punk. The tour’s history has seen it act as a “door-opener” for new styles, always presenting “extreme music against all odds” rather than adapting to trends. The 2025 edition, for example, featured a different blend of artists, including Crowbar, Full Of Hell, and Brat.

Tickets for the 2026 tour are on sale now.
